Making sure that you eat enough after you’ve worked out is really important because no matter what you’ve worked your body and your muscles need something to be able to start repairing the small tears that you’ve created. No matter how hard he went they’re gonna be some microscopic tears, and you may not even be sore, but that still doesn’t mean that you don’t need a good post workout me
Of course, the main goals of a post workout meal is gonna be making sure that you have enough carbs, protein, and fat. Getting in post workout meal within the first hour of working out is really important just because you need to restore and replenish your glycogen stores as well as starting to repair everything that’s going on in your body
So here are some of my favorite post workout meals, and these apply to any anytime of the day breakfast lunch or dinner
oatmeal with peanut butter
Oat pancakes with peanut butter or pure maple syrup
Salad with enough in it like chicken and nuts and other fruits or vegetable vegetables
Chicken and rice and a veggie and la sauce gourmet sauce to make it not boring
Egg tacos with all the works with the works being sautéed onion and the sauce, Le Sauce & Co. creamy jalapeño sauce and cheese
